# How do I add my podcast to categories on Spotify?

I asked our contact at Spotify about this, and she wrote back saying:

> The genre hubs you see on Spotify are not curated by our programming team, but instead populated algorithmically. As the show grows, the more likely it will be to appear in those categories.
