# How do I add time stamps to my podcast episodes?

There are two approaches for this:

1. Create audio chapters in your MP3. You can visit our guide here: [Adding Chapters](https://support.transistor.fm/en/article/how-do-i-add-mp3-chapters-to-my-podcast-episode-1ts9azc/))

2. Add timestamps as text in your Show Notes field.

Here's an example of how timestamps show up on our podcast websites:

Some podcast players will convert these to anchor links in the app. For example, timestamps look like this when played in the Overcast podcast app:

You can also share timestamps in links too! Read how you can now [Link to a specific part of your podcast](https://transistor.fm/changelog/timestamps/).
