# Which podcast apps support private podcasts?

###### Which podcast apps support private podcasts?

Unlike public podcasts, unlisted and private feeds are not submitted to and indexed by podcast platforms like Apple and Spotify. For your subscribers to listen to unlisted and private feeds in a podcast app, that app must allow for external feeds that have not been indexed to be added to their personal library.

Some podcast apps (Apple) support this functionality, while others (Spotify) do not.
