How do I add hosts and guests to my podcast?

The People feature lets you show who makes your podcast: hosts, guests, editors and more. Each person gets a profile with their photo, bio and links, and you can add them to the episodes they're in.

Why add people

  • Credit everyone involved. Listeners can see who's on each episode, with links to find out more about them.
  • Borrow your guests' audience. Guests are more likely to share an episode that features them, and their names appear on your website and in your RSS feed.
  • Support your guests. Each person's profile links to their website and social media accounts, so your listeners can find and follow them. You help grow their audience and community while they help grow yours.
  • Show up in more places. Some podcast apps show the people in each episode, using the details in your RSS feed.

Where people appear

  • On your podcast website: each person has their own page, and your website has a People page listing everyone
  • On your episode pages and sharing pages
  • In your RSS feed, for podcast apps that support people

How to add a person

  • Go to the People tab of your podcast and click New Person
  • Fill in their Full Name and choose their Podcast Role: Guest, Host, Editor, Writer, Designer, Composer or Producer
  • Add a photo, A Short Bio, and links to their website and social profiles
  • To set someone as a regular, like a host, tick Make this a default person on the show, and new episodes. They'll be added to every new episode automatically
  • Save the person

To save time, you can fill in someone's name, photo and bio from their Bluesky, Mastodon or GitHub profile.

How to add people to an episode

On an episode's page, scroll to the People section and add the people involved in that episode. Default people are added to new episodes for you.
