How loud should my podcast audio be?

There are differing standards for loudness and spoken-word audio:

EU: -16 LUFS
Spotify/Alexa: -14 LUFS
Audio Engineering Society: -18 LUFS
Radio: -24 LUFS
Public Radio: -18 LUFS

At Transistor, we recommend -16 LUFS.
