    When you upload your audio files to Transistor, we won't change your ID3 tags or downsample your audio. If your file doesn't have ID3 tags, we will add them for you when you upload. If they aren't already present, we add ID3 tags for: Episode Title Podcast Title Author Publishing Year Episode Number If you upload an AAC or WAV file, we will convert it to MP3 for you (after you upload).     If your show notes look properly formatted in Transistor, but not in podcast apps like Apple Podcasts, there are two main causes: Copying and pasting from other applications (like Word, Google Docs, Apple Notes) can bring over hidden HTML formatting that you can't see in our editor, but gets rendered in podcast apps.     For security reasons, only the show Owner can delete a show. All other team members -- Admin, Member, and Analytics -- cannot delete shows. To delete a show, go to Settings for that show and scroll to the bottom. There is a "Delete Show" button in the lower-right.Few readers

  • Do you post your users' podcasts to Apple Podcasts for them, or allow them to do it themselves?
    In the podcasting world, your Apple Podcasts account is your key to many of the other directories. Overcast, Pocket Casts, Breaker, Castro, Listen Notes, and others all scrape the iTunes directory. Apple podcasts is kind of like the master copy. If you don’t control your iTunes listing, you lose a major piece of control over your podcast’s future.
