I just published a new episode but it hasn't shown up on Apple Podcasts yet. Why?
It can take up to 24 hours for new episodes to appear on Apple Podcasts
Apple Podcasts checks your RSS feed periodically. If your newest episode hasn't shown up, it's probably because they haven't refreshed your feed yet. Typically, this happens every few hours.
For example, even if you scheduled your episode to be published at 9 am, Apple still checks your feed on its own schedule.
If you log into Apple Podcast Connect there is on option to refresh your feed.
You can read more about the changes Apple have made in this article Podnews - Why Apple Doesn't See Your New Episode Immediately
Apple support advises that it may take up to 24 hours for a new podcast episode to appear on Apple Podcasts.
If the new episode still hasn't appeared on Apple Podcasts after 24 hours, you'll need to contact Apple Apple Podcasts - Support to raise a ticket with their podcasts support team.
You should provide them with your RSS feed and ask them to refresh your feed manually, to pick up the latest episode.
Alternatively you can let us know at Transistor - either through our Live Chat or via email support@transistor.fm. We can then reach out to Apple on your behalf to request your feed is refreshed.
