I just published a new episode but it hasn't shown up on Apple Podcasts yet. Why?
Apple Podcasts checks your RSS feed periodically. If your newest episode hasn't shown up, it's probably because they haven't refreshed your feed yet. Typically, this happens every few hours.
For example, even if you scheduled your episode to be published at 9 am, Apple still checks your feed on its own schedule.
You used to be able to manually force Apple to refresh your feed in Apple Podcast Connect. However this option was recently removed in the most recent Apple Podcasts Connect update in Spring 2021.

Apple support advises that it may take up to 24 hours for a new podcast episode to appear on Apple Podcasts.

If the new episode still hasn't appeared on Apple Podcasts after 24 hours, you'll need to contact Apple Apple Podcasts - Support to raise a ticket with their podcasts support team.
You should provide them with your RSS feed and ask them to refresh your feed manually, to pick up the latest episode.
Alternatively you can let us know at Transistor - either through our Live Chat or via email support@transistor.fm. We can then reach out to Apple on your behalf to request your feed is refreshed.
