How do I connect Patreon to Transistor?

If you run a Patreon campaign, you can connect it to your podcast in Transistor. We'll keep a list of your active patrons in sync, so you can thank them by name in your show notes and on your Transistor podcast website.

The Patreon integration is available for public podcasts. You'll need a Patreon creator account with an active campaign.

Connect Patreon

  • Go to the Integrations tab for your podcast
  • In the Patreon section, click Sign In with Patreon and approve the connection
  • We'll import your active patrons. New patrons are added and patrons who leave are removed automatically from then on.

Thank your supporters

Once Patreon is connected, choose where your supporters appear and click Save settings:

  • Display a list of current supporters in episode show notes: adds a "Thanks to our monthly supporters" list to the end of every episode's show notes
  • Include a supporters page on your Transistor website: adds a page to your podcast website listing your supporters

To control where the list goes in your show notes, use the placeholder tags instead:

  • {{supporters}} adds the list of all your current supporters
  • {{new_supporters}} adds only the supporters who joined since your last published episode, which is a nice way to welcome them on air

The integration thanks your supporters, but it doesn't add a link for new listeners to join. To do that, add your Patreon page as your podcast's donation link.

Disconnect Patreon

Click Disconnect in the Patreon section. Your supporters list is removed from your show notes and website.
