How do I distribute my video podcast to YouTube?

Follow these steps to start distributing your video podcast to YouTube:

  1. Get set up on YouTube
  2. Ask us to enable the Video Beta for your show in Transistor
  3. Connect to YouTube video distribution in Transistor
  4. Start uploading video episodes

1. Get set up on YouTube

If you don't have a YouTube channel yet, you'll need to create one first.

If you want links in your show notes to be clickable on YouTube, you'll also need to verify your YouTube account.

2. Ask us to enable the Video Beta for your show in Transistor

Video podcasting features are currently in Beta Testing. See here for more details.

We are enabling the Video Beta on a show-by-show basis for customers who want early access. To be eligible, you must be on the Professional plan or above.

Please contact us in our Live Chat or via email at support@transistor.fm to let us know you are interested.

3. Connect to YouTube video distribution in Transistor

Once video is enabled for your show in Transistor, go to Distribution > Video Hosting and Distribution, click "Connect", and follow the prompts to:

  • Sign in to Google
  • Select the channel you want to connect
  • Select an existing playlist or have us create one
